The Szczecin-based indie games publisher/developer RedDeer.Games and Groningen -based (The Netherlands) indie games developer Square Glade Games, are today very happy and proud to announce that their Western-inspired base builder/survival game “Above Snakes”, is coming to consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) sometime this year (2024).

Above Snakes – a sandbox survival game with a Wild West theme has begun its journey to all leading consoles. It is the debut game of the developer Square Glade Games, with which RedDeer.Games has just established a partnership.

Above Snakes is a unique blend of open-world creation, gentle survival and building, combined with the native, unspoiled power of the Wild West.

Inspired by the tumultuous period of the conquest of the wild west of North America, the game is aimed at all lovers of slow-paced settling, construction, farming, and survival.

Above Snakes will provide players with many possibilities, plenty of excitement, and hours of fun. The story centres around the fortunes of a young woman trying to survive amid the dangerous complexities of the newly developing world.

Players will start from scratch, creating a completely custom world with diverse biomes, through the possibility of detailed exploration, collecting resources, and building their household. Players can also craft, harvest, fish, hunt and even fight the so-called Lost Souls.

Above Snakes’ Nintendo Switch release will be announced later in 2024. The game is already available on Steam for those impatient explorers of the Wild West.
