The Poland-based indie games publisher and game developer Hyperstrange today announced with great thrill and joy that their Western-themed stealth FPS horror game “Blood West” is coming to PC via Steam Early Access on February 10th, 2022.

The survival-horror FPS will have the players exploring twisted wild west environments, scavenging for supplies, hunting deadly monstrosities, and gaining power to face terrifying bosses.

In Blood West, there truly is no rest for the wicked. An outlawed gunslinger finds himself brought back to life by strange native spirits. They set him on a quest to find the root of the strange occult curse that has befallen the frontier. His soul will find no peace, and his body won’t rest, until he purges the land of abominations it has spawned.

Drawing inspiration from classic series like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Thief, the immersive game promotes stealth, observation, careful planning, and sensible resource management. Yet, with some experience, the right combination of acquired perks, and armed with a Winchester rifle or a sawed-off shotgun, the player will be wreaking gory havoc among the fiends and monsters.

The Early Access will introduce the players to the first out of three expansive areas the full game will feature. Blood West will be released in full in autumn on the PC and in 2023 on consoles. The game will be priced at $14.99 in the early access period, and the pioneers getting it in the launch week will also enjoy a special release discount.
