Divided We Fall marches out from Steam Early Access. The strategic close-combat multiplayer game celebrates release with free week.

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – October 2, 2017 – Today the WW2 team-driven RTS Divided We Fall releases after a year in Steam Early Access. Divided We Fall is now free to try until October 6 via the Steam Store, and can be purchased with a 25% launch discount! Surprise Coop mode reveal!

After several years of great support by the community, development of Divided We Fall has been advancing in leaps and bounds via the Steam Early Access program since September 2016. A year later there has been much new content and big improvements, including a more detailed weapon system, new suppression mechanics, a full renewal of the UI and animations, a tutorial and improved new player experience, an easy to use map editor, and much more. It all comes together to make the core gameplay more compelling and exciting than ever before! On top of all this, to go with the release we have implemented one of the community’s most highly demanded features: a brand new cooperative multiplayer game mode. Players asked for AI enemies, and now they are here – take them on alone or with friends, including on custom maps!

Free to try all week! The launch starts off with a free week giving players a chance to get a taste of everything Divided We Fall has to offer. This includes the brand new PvE mode – playable cooperatively, or in single player!

Plotting ahead, following the release, KAVA Game Studio will immediately begin work on implementing the next planned features for Divided We Fall:
• New nations and theaters, such as the British, the Russians on the Eastern Front, and possibly even more distant battlegrounds.
• Destructible terrain to make battles even more dynamic and unpredictable.
• More weapon options like mortars, smoke grenades, and more.
• A morale system where soldiers can be affected by events near them and the overall course of the battle.
• Special character DLCs for players to incorporate in their squads, released alongside new nations.
So what are you waiting for? Lead your squad through WW2, develop well thought-out battlefield tactics and execute them effectively to ensure your path to victory. From Squad Leader to General, plotting the best strategies and bringing them to the battlefield with your teammates. You can do it all in Divided We Fall!

About the Developers
Based in Amsterdam, KAVA Game Studio is led by Antoine Meurillon and Florian Käding, who initially released Call of Combat as a hobby project in 2002, which thrived with a lively community for over 10 years. As technology marched on, Florian was inspired to start work from the ground up on a new successor to Call of Combat in order to make the most of the new possibilities. Divided We Fall aims to reinvent the gameplay seen in two classic team tactics games: the original Call of Combat (2002) and Chain of Command (1999). These games each garnered active and loyal communities for over a decade.
