You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and… Stronghoof? Modus Games and Modus Studios today unleashed winter on the cast of the hoofed fighter “Them’s Fightin’ Herds” with Stronghoof the Reindeer.

Stronghoof is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch as a standalone £4.99 purchase or as part of the Season 1 Pass and comes with the brand-new Reine Ramparts stage.

With ice-based, magical attacks and the winter sprite Vetr at his side, some powerful antlers are the least of the concerns of anyone who dares enter the ring against Stronghoof. Get a look at his wintry attacks in today’s brand-new trailer:

Stronghoof is the fighting game’s second drop in its Season 1 Pass, available separately or as part of Them’s Fightin’ Herds: Deluxe Edition for £34.99. The Season 1 Pass includes four additional playable characters, four unique stages, four exclusive Pixel Lobby accessories and an exclusive palette for each character. New players looking to join the barnyard brawl can try out Them’s Fightin’ Herds for free on Xbox One and Series X|S from April 13 – April 16 as part of Xbox Gold/Ultimate Free Play Days. Play through the first chapter of the episodic story mode or hop online and play against anyone across the globe with crossplay matchmaking.

Them’s Fightin’ Herds is a four-button, 2D fighting game featuring a cast of characters designed by Lauren Faust (producer and developer for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic; creator, director, and developer for Super Best Friends Forever).

Tussle in Arcade and Local Versus Modes, practice in Tutorial and Training Modes, then dive into the game’s many online matchmaking features (with GGPO rollback netcode) to test yourself against players from around the world. Or explore an episodic Story Mode that blends top-down adventure with fighting game combat challenges.
