Thunderful is delighted to announce that it has entered into a binding agreement regarding the acquisition of the independent games developer JUMPSHIP.

The studio’s first title, the highly anticipated sci-fi adventure “Somerville“, will be released today. As a Thunderful studio, JUMPSHIP will retain creative autonomy as it continues to create top-class story-driven narrative games.

JUMPSHIP was founded in 2017 around the Somerville IP, conceptualised by Chris Olsen and built in collaboration with ex-CEO and co-founder of Playdead, Dino Patti. As well as remaining at JUMPSHIP, Dino will also take on a new role as Strategic Advisor for Thunderful Games.
