Rotterdam, The Netherlands – 7 May 2026 – SOEDESCO® and developer Kyodai are excited to announce that Truck Driver: The American Dream will launch on Steam on May 29, 2026. Already available on PlayStation and Xbox, the narrative-driven trucking experience is now heading to PC.

Blending trucking gameplay with a story-driven journey, Truck Driver: The American Dream offers more than just deliveries. Players will step into the shoes of Nathan, a truck driver building his career, forming connections, and carving out his own path on the open road.

A demo is currently available on Steam, allowing players to experience the first chapter of this trucking adventure and a few Freedom-to-Roam missions ahead of launch.

Expanding the Journey

With its upcoming Steam release, Truck Driver: The American Dream continues to evolve across platforms. Alongside the PC launch, a range of updates and additions will roll out simultaneously on PlayStation and Xbox, ensuring all players can enjoy the experience together.
The update includes:

10 new Freedom-to-Roam missions (150+ total)
Steering wheel support (Logitech G923, Xbox G923, PlayStation G920/G29, Thrustmaster T128 (PS5 and Xbox)/T248 (PS5 and Xbox)/T80/T300RS, HORI DLX AB-05, Fanatec DD)

Vista System “treasure hunt” mode
Hunger System: Manage your hunger by purchasing food at restaurants, gas stations and rest stops
Updated world map with improved visuals
Hardware and software ray tracing support

New Graphic Settings Menu with dedicated Steam Deck profile
Story-mode avatars for main characters
