Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR will debut on August 30 this year. The VR edition of the best-rated fishing game in the history of Steam for the first few weeks will be available in Steam Early Access mode.

Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR will be compatible with various virtual reality systems (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality, Valve Index and Pimax). The creators have also provided the possibility to play without VR goggles.

Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR is created by the Polish studio Bit Golem, and the publisher is Ultimate Games S.A.

The standard version of the game had its premiere in early access mode in November 2017 (the full version of the game was released on August 30, 2018), and the percentage of positive reviews is now as high as 84%.

This is the best result among fishing games released on the Steam platform. Ultimate Fishing Simulator was also awarded as one of the best games with early access.

Ultimate Games S.A. indicates that the VR edition will offer the same content as Ultimate Fishing Simulator. On the premiere date, the game will be compatible with the most popular VR systems (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality, Valve Index and Pimax).

The developer does not exclude the possibility of extending this list in the future when new VR systems will appear on the market. Importantly, Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR can also be played without using VR goggles.

Out of care for the final quality, in the case of the VR edition, we decided to release it in the Early Access formula. The content of Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR is basically ready, so the early access phase will not last too long. This should be more or less a few weeks and during this time we will refine individual elements in terms of the specificity of VR systems, taking into account, of course, also comments made by players.

We want Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR in the most optimal way to combine the advantages of the traditional version and the new possibilities offered by virtual reality systems” says the CEO of Ultimate Games S.A., Mateusz Zawadzki.

As Mateusz Zawadzki notes, players interested in the VR version who already have the “regular” version will be able to buy an add-on that extends the game with VR support.

Ultimate Fishing Simulator VR will make its debut on the Steam platform (Early Access) August 30, 2019. The publisher has announced that later the game will also be available in other shops (including the Oculus Store).
