The London-based (the UK) indie games publisher and developer Kepler Ghost and Zurich-based (Switzerland) indie games developer Indoor Astronaut, are today very glad and thrilled to announce that their upcoming multiplayer track-building action game “Unrailed 2: Back on Track” (the sequel to their runaway co-op hit “Unrailed”, is coming to PC via Steam Early Access on November 7th, 2024.

Revealing the date via an all-new trailer debuted in the Convergence Games Showcase. The delightfully chaotic co-operative building game challenges groups to collaboratively place train tracks while clearing obstacles – and even boss battles against locomotive-sized foes – fast enough to prevent their ever-chug-a-chugging train from derailing.

Unrailed 2: Back on Track’s release date trailer hauls new gameplay reveling in the non-stop fun awaiting teams ready to leap from the conductor’s seat to take on side quests, discover intriguing points of interest, and earn permanent upgrades for characters and engines while laying tracks to guide their train’s path. Branching routes and procedurally generated worlds ensure that no two journeys play out the same, and unlockable extras help keep the thrill of each new trip running at full steam.

An Unpredictable Adventure: Unlock new biomes, engines and upgrades while charting an ever-changing path, protecting your train from obstacles and dangerous acquaintances along the way.

Online & Local Co-operative Fun: Embark with up to three friends for four-player track-laying fun, coordinating to accomplish goals and avoid a run-ending trainwreck.

4v4 Throwdowns: Face off against a rival team of travelers in the frantically fun Vs. Mode, while competing to top online leaderboards with unbeatable high scores.

Level Editor: Set your imagination as free as a runaway train in the all-new Terrain Conductor mode, building custom maps to share with the Unrailed community before playing the incredible creations of your fellow conductors.
