The Cyprus-based indie games publisher ESDigital Games and the Argentina-based indie games developer Epic Llama, are today very happy and excited to announce that their 1980s-themed retro-like point-and-click adventure game “Unusual Findings”, is now available for PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch).

When Vinny, Nick, and Tony accidentally descramble a distress signal from a crashed alien spaceship, their world of baseball cards, VHS rentals, and sneaking glimpses at adult channels will never be the same. With a mysterious entity now plaguing their town and killing the locals, the boys begin a life-changing investigation teeming with bonding moments, romantic encounters, and more ‘80s easter eggs than you can chuck a Rubik’s Cube at.

Explore the Emerald Sword comic shop, the Video Buster rental store, the Laser Llamas arcade, and other locations throughout town, solving classic point-and-click puzzles with some modern twists. Leave pixel-hunting in the past with assist mode, highlighting all points of interest. Don’t just follow the script—write your own by making game-changing choices that send the story, characters, and relationships in dramatically different directions.

Inspired by legendary ‘80s films like The Goonies and The Lost Boys, the thrilling tale of Unusual Findings comes to life with full voice acting, dozens of possible endings and outcomes, and lovingly rendered 16-bit pixel art packed with references and cameos. Rummage through nostalgic inventory items for puzzle solutions and get down to a bodacious soundtrack with immaculate ‘80s vibes and licensed music like “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” by Dead or Alive.

Unusual Findings is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam for USD $19.99, with a 15% launch week discount active now on Steam. It supports English, Russian, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Polish, and Portuguese text languages, with voice acting in English and Russian.
