Cambridge, UK – 21 May 2026 – Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV), and Complex Games, in collaboration with Warhammer are excited to announce Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch. Sequel to the hugely popular Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, Deathwatch will launch on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Lead the Long Vigil and take command of an elite Deathwatch Kill Team in the next brutal chapter of this critically acclaimed turn-based tactical RPG. Supported by agents of the Inquisition and Astra Militarum as newly sanctioned Inquisitors, commanders will wage war to drive back deadly Xenos threats and resist the corrupting forces of Chaos.

In Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Gate – Deathwatch every decision matters. Each engagement will test players’ discipline and strategy with broader class identity, new squad customisation, and challenging new missions across an epic campaign. Build the ultimate squad with a wide range of specialists from fanatical Inquisitorial agents to elite Deathwatch battle brothers, all of which introduce unique roles, abilities, and wargear. Plus, commanders seeking unmatched combat can trial their tactics in Skirmish mode, which offers fully customisable standalone battles for total control of the battlefield.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch’s campaign showcases the brutality of Warhammer 40,000 through a narrative set on a galactic scale. Rising to power as Interrogator Bastian Rath, players are thrust into command amid a conspiracy threatening the stability of the Tyrian expanse. Across scorched planets, commanders will decide the fate of the sector and the Imperium’s future within it as they uncover the truth left behind in the wake of Inquisitor Rykov.

For Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch combat has been redefined and the variety of allies, foes and battlefields expanded. During the campaign, commanders will face seven enemy factions as they build and lead a squad with up to nine playable classes. Recruit and customise the best of the best from across the Imperium and combine classes, weapons, abilities, and Space Marines from unique chapters to form the ultimate Kill Team, bringing devastation to those who would threaten the Imperium. Make use of the environment to crush foes, deliver brutal executions to continue the fight, or storm the battlefield with an array of towering vehicles including the Redemptor Dreadnought, Scout Sentinel, and Leman Russ tank.
