Gavra Games, an independent development studio based in Israel, is happy to announce that their debut game, Warriors: Rise to Glory!, releases today on Steam Early Access on February 2nd for $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99. Warriors: Rise to Glory is a turn-based combat game with RPG and roguelike elements –and lots of humor! You play as a fierce warrior, summoned to the strange realm of Indiekingdom for the amusement of a crazy tyrant, the mad emperor Ayziz. You must rise above all other fighters to win your freedom back, and get your revenge against the emperor. Sometimes, becoming the best warrior in the world implies fighting to death against fierce, merciless murderers. And sometimes, all it takes is farting at some poor loser’s face in front of a cheering crowd!

The mad emperor Ayziz, ruler of the Indiekingdom, used his dark powers to teleport the fiercest warriors from different timelines and places around the multiverse. These warriors were manipulated to believe that, if they proved their worth fighting to death for the amusement of the emperor, they would find their way back to their homeland. You were a great chieftain in your land, a virtuous warrior who ruled with honor and justice. Then one day a dark portal appeared in the sky and sucked you. You reappeared near butt-naked, alone and, above all, incredibly pissed at Ayziz. You swore vengeance, and even though you will probably die trying, your bloodline will keep your oath: to rise to glory, be free again – and wash this disgusting loincloth at some point!

In order to do that, you fight in turn-based combats in duels and tournaments; you gain experience, level up your warrior to gain new skills, and loot and buy cool, crazy weapons and armors. But you are not an ordinary warrior, but a gladiator fighting for the amusement of the crowd: how you fight and what you do to please them will be of vital importance. Warriors: Rise to Glory adds RPG and roguelike elements to the mixture. Permadeath makes every combat meaningful: if you are defeated, you are dead for good, although your bloodline can inherit some of your skills and riches. And along the way you will find quests, people in need and decisions to take…

ABOUT WARRIORS: RISE TO GLORY ON EARLY ACCESS
Warriors: Rise to Glory! will be released on Steam Early Access. The current version of the game includes the core gameplay (mostly combat, leveling, gear, and silly jokes). Gavra Games expect the game to be on EA for about 8 months, if there are no bumps down the road. During that time, Warriors: Rise to Glory! will receive constant updates with new content and features, including (but not limited to) new bosses, weapons, and armors, multiplayer modes, and a deeper single-player campaign. The goal of this Early Access campaign is to reach out to the Steam community so their feedback can help shaping and improving the game until it reaches its full potential.
