Press release:
Delft, THE NETHERLANDS – May 31st, 2016 – Today, Wee Free Studio released the first major update for Powargrid, the challenging turn-based strategy game in which you must destroy your opponent’s power plants and protect your own.
Team and Free for All Multiplayer
The AI in Powargrid has been called intelligent and even devilish. But since humans are much better than the AI at taunting, throwing insults, gloating and being sore losers, the real fun for many players is to play against – and try to defeat – a human opponent. To multiply this fun, Powargrid now allows multiplayer matches with more than two players. Team up with a friend and play a strategic two versus two match or embrace total chaos in a free for all match with up to eight players.
Powargrid Demo with Multiplayer Connect
The new Powargrid demo version, now available on Steam, allows anyone to join a multiplayer game. So if you own the full version of Powargrid, you can play against anyone who has the demo. What better way to convince seven friends to join your for some free for all multiplayer mayhem?
Of course, the demo also allows new players to try Powargrid. The first five campaign missions are available at all difficulty levels and any completed achievements are preserved after buying the full game.
Marsh to War
This is a new map for skirmish and multiplayer games. Its deceptively simple layout will challenge your tactical decision making. See if you can kick our vicious AI out of the swamp. Or invite your friends to Marsh to War!
