YO-KAI WATCH Wibble Wobble goes into Christmas mode

Following on the heels of last week’s festivities, the award-winning Japanese studio is unveiling the second set of YO-KAI WATCH Wibble Wobble Holiday Events — including the arrival of Orcanos to Score Attack mode, brand new Event Missions, the addition of “Crank-a-Boss” (along with a much-awaited “Triple Crank-a-Kai” drop rate boost), and more.

It’s time to face off against Orcanos after (hopefully!) defeating and befriending Camellia last week in Score Attack mode. Push forward by completing new Event Missions: Collect stars in Terror Time, clear stages within the time limit, or upgrade Yo-kai to a specified level — and remember to exchange Christmas/New Year Coins for a chance at befriending Robonyan F, Robokappa, and Sailornyan!

The Crank-a-Kai now includes a number of befriendable bosses such as the fearsome Rubeus J, a weaponized Hardy Hound, marshmallow-like Whismellowman, a heat-resistant Sproink S, pond protector SV Snaggerjag S, three-headed Slimamander S — and even your old fiendish pal Orcanos.

End the year on a high note with the introduction of “Triple Crank-a-Kai.” On Dec. 26, the Crank-a-Kai gets triple the usual drop rate on S-ranked Yo-kai. Now is your chance to strengthen your roster with the strongest Yo-kai ever — and be well on your way to a fantastic 2017!

What is YO-KAI WATCH Wibble Wobble?
Inspired by the popular Disney XD™ TV series, YO-KAI WATCH Wibble Wobble blends puzzle gameplay and RPG mechanics to perfection with challenging, can’t-put-it-down gameplay — along with irresistible graphics and sound.

In each battle, players must swipe to connect one Wib Wob to one of the same kind, forming an even larger Wib Wob. Quick fingers are a must: Connect small Wib Wob and tap on the large ones to deal damage to enemy Yo-kai (who usually attack in approximately five second intervals). The larger the player’s Wib Wob, the more damage it can deal against enemy Yo-kai. The more Wib Wob you connect, the faster the Fever Gauge will be filled — which kicks off Fever Mode, rendering players invincible for a brief period of time.

Occasionally, when players pop a large Wib Wob, a Bonus Ball will appear. By popping a Bonus Ball, surrounding Wib Wob will grow even larger for extra damage! Pop enough of a specific Wib Wob to fill up its Soul Meter and ready a Soultimate Move, which ranges from damage to restoring HP. Once the meter is full, players can tap on a particular Yo-kai to perform its Soultimate Move!
