Montreal, Canada – August 1, 2023.
Retro publisher Incube8 Games and indie developer Providential Innovations, today announced with great happiness and excitement that their exploration/puzzle/action game “Zephyr’s Pass“, is soon coming digitally and physically to the Game Boy Color.

“Zephyr’s Pass” is a game that combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and action elements. Players will navigate treacherous environments, engage in combat against enemies, and unravel intricate puzzles that guard ancient relics. As the main character Abel harnesses the relics’ powers, players will witness his evolution, adapting his strategies and abilities to face increasingly challenging obstacles.

The story is about a young hero, who teams up with a small gang of pirates, to defeat Thane, a man trying to become the Wind God. To defeat him, Abel, our hero, must become the hero of Zephyr by finding all the ancient pieces of his armor.

About Aaron Gadol
Aaron Gadol is a designer, illustrator, and game developer living in Charlotte, North Carolina. He started a graphic design agency, StudioQuiet, and works closely with Providential Innovations as a lead creative. His work has been featured in company branding, websites, books, magazines, video games, and short films.

After working on various demos and small projects in the gaming industry, Aaron began work on Zephyr’s Pass, a full-featured Game Boy release for Providential Innovations. Because his first ever console was a Game Boy, it felt right to begin his journey of indie development where he originally found his love for games.
