“Hot Cyber Babes” is an adult sci-fi RPG game from South Korea, but with Japanese voice acting. Playing as a morally dubious commander, you need to fend off an enemy invasion, with the help of equally morally dubious and masochistic, but sexy female soldiers.

“Hot Cyber Babes” is a visually stunning and detailed RPG that offers a lot of babes, stuff to build, explore, and much more!
Playing as a cross between KanColl and Azure Lane (a lot of the girls are anthropomorphized vehicles), you need to explore and defeat all enemies you find, whilst upgrading your base, constructing buildings, and preparing defenses.
The world in which you play is quite a vast area, which is built on and explored. During the exploration phase, enemy patrols are usually found, through which an automatic turn-based battle is played out.

“Hot Cyber Babes” may be a mobile game, but its graphics are pretty darn impressive non the less (the visuals are very detailed for example).
However, before you start, you can, modify your team to give them an advantage (you’re given a prediction of the current result using current settings). Modification includes adding new girls and either developing new troops (which takes a short amount of time), or using those who are in reserve.

You’re given this choice early on, with no real context on who they are, although it’s possible they are your own.
After which, the battle starts, with important characters enacting out their speciality moves to inflict extra damage. After a victory (hopefully), you can claim a prize, and your girls rankings increase.
Besides fighting, standard RPG fare is abound: Buildings of various sorts can be built (due to the text size used, it’s not always easy to make out what is what) or upgraded, which in turn increases (or starts) production of new vehicles, fuel and so on – all things needed to continue the war. This is one area that is particularly good – there is an extensive amount of items to be bought.

In my own persiona oppinion, I think that “Hot Cyber Babes” should get ported and released for PC in the near future. Because the game would do very well on PC for sure.
Unfortunately, the resolution used hampers the game quite a bit, rendering all text hard to read. In addition to that, the dialogue box used when characters talk isn’t large enough to accommodate large sentences, so a lot of what goes on is actually a mystery.
Up until a good way into the game, you are effectively told what to do and where to go. This is quite useful, as the game is more complicated that it appears : besides loads of building that need to be created and then upgraded, you also need to upgrade your military, and the accompanying girls as well. The latter is done by giving them gifts, which, aside from upgrading their statistics, eventually enables extra sex scenes.
The number of available girls to “rescue” is certainly not lacking, although I wouldn’t be surprised if some need to be purchased with real money (unless you’re lucky enough to win them in the gatchas).
Oh yes, this is a game that would like you to buy things – fortunately, it’s not pushed down your throat, but is always a background presence.
Graphically, the game is extremely nice, although it could said it’s wasted on a small display. Generally, everything is nicely detailed. The sex scenes are basically animated, and as each girls intimacy level builds up you have a choice of different scenes.
Sound-wise, aside from the loading screen, the game just plays a short instrumental version of “When Johnny Comes Marching Home”, which regarding the game’s scenario is appropriate. One annoying thing though, is the music suddenly cuts-off and then restarts.
As mentioned at the start, the commander and all the girls (or at least Shizuka) are morally suspect : early on in the game, Shizuka gives you the choice of recruiting or killing some lost soldiers. Whilst it’s not stated with whom they are affiliated, it’s implied they are already on your side.
In addition, Shizuka doesn’t want girls rescued just because they’ve been captured by the enemy – she wants them bedded as quickly as possible. She also makes it quite plain how much she hates the enemy…
Pros:
+ Nicely detailed RPG game with lots to build, explore and find.
+ Main world graphics are very nicely detailed. The sex scenes are just as nice, although sometimes morally ambiguous.
+ Battle against other players.
+ Easy to get the hang of, although…
Cons:
– … lots of dodgy English, with plenty of sentences being cut-off in the dialogue box.
– Morally dubious antics at times.
– Music cuts off and then repeats at an inappropriate point.
– Android only – and you would need a tablet to play it on if you want decent-sized text.
Gameplay: 4/5
Graphics: 4/5
Sound and music: 3/5
Controls: 3/5
Replay value: 3/5
Story: 3/5

Verdict: 4/5
“Hot Cyber Babes” is a graphically very nice adult RPG, that is let down in the presentation department, with poor translation and dialogue being chopped off.
However, everything does play well even under emulation, so it’s not really an impediment to playing the game. Whilst it’s not that original, has text problems and a morally dubious characters, it is quite enjoyable.
