As the most of us already know by now, the Gamescom 2017 event is coming up fast (it starts on the 22nd of August, and ends on the 26th of August). This is nothing new, but here’s something that you might not know. You see, Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just informed me (Robin Ek, TGG) that Nintendo is going to be live on site at Gamescom 2017:
“During this year’s Gamescom fair in Cologne, Germany, Nintendo will showcase some of the year’s biggest games for Nintendo Switch and consoles in the Nintendo 3DS family. Fans from around the world will be able to see more of upcoming game titles from different live presentations throughout the week. All of these will be in English and will be available at http://www.youtube.com/nintendouk or https://www.nintendo.co.uk/index.html
On Wednesday, August 23 at 3:00 pm Swedish fans will be able to watch new gameplay from Super Mario Odyssey. The game will be commented by the producer Yoshiaki Koizumi. The Metro Kingdom and Sand Kingdom courts will also be playable on the fair floor.
Thursday, August 24th. 12:00 pm Swedish time is the time for Metroid: Samus Returns to appear together with producer Yoshio Sakamoto and José Luis Márquez, creative director from Mercury Steam. They will tell you more about Samus Aran’s upcoming adventure on Nintendo 3DS.
In conjunction with the release of Metroid: Samus Returns on September 15th, an orange New Nintendo 3DS XL Samus Edition will be released with artwork depicted by the intergalactic award hunter himself.
In addition to these presentations by developers, there will be live broadcasts of experts on Nintendo of Europe games so you can learn more exciting details about Fire Emblem Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with several Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games. Consider a more accurate schedule of these live broadcasts in the coming weeks.
These broadcasts are also broadcast live and can be spanned through http://www.youtube.com/nintendouk or https://www.nintendo.co.uk/index.html
Those who visit Nintendo’s stand in Hall 9 on Gamescom will be able to test Nintendo Switch games like Super Mario Odyssey, Pocket Tournament DX, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, ARMS and Splatoon 2 and Nintendo 3DS Games like Mario & Luigi : Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, Monster Hunter Stories and Samus Aran’s upcoming, long-awaited adventure Metroid: Samus Returns. This is also the first time consumers in Europe can test Metroid: Samus Returns.” – Nintendo Sweden
Furthermore, Nintendo will show-case a brand-new gameplay trailer for “Super Mario Odyssey” (people will even get a chance to play the game themselves!), and we will get some new information about “Metroid: Samus Returns” as well =) So, are you guys and girls excited for Nintendo’s live presence at Gamescom 2017?
