As you might remember, we have written quite a lot about the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019 as of lately.

Well, there’s going to be more a lot more content on that front, because Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just informed us that the Nordic final in the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019 now has a winner (***SPOILER WARNING!*** you can watch the whole thing via Twitch):

“Now on Saturday, January 26, four Nordic teams made up the Nordic final in the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019.

The team between them was Pyykkipojat, Ämpäri Gang, bay bait and Team Blackfisk. Only one team could go victorious from the battle and move on to the European final in Paris on March 9-10.

The semi-finals and the finals were broadcast live, but even if you missed it you can see the broadcast afterwards via https://www.facebook.com/NintendoSwitchEurope or https://www.twitch.tv/videos/370208977

Last Friday, which teams would meet each other in the semi-finals. It was the two Finnish law Pyykkipojat and Ämpäri Gang that had to hit together first. From that battle went Ämpäri Gang victorious with 3-0.In the second semi-finals, the Swedes team bay bait and the Swedish team Team Blackfisk met.

Here it was also a very clear result when bay bait won 3-0.So in the final it was time for Ämpäri Gang to meet bay bait. It was a really tough hit with interesting strategies from both teams, but Ämpäri Gang with his team captain Sendou had an experience and tactics that bay bait didn’t succeed in. Ämpäri Gang won with 3-0 against bay bait and thus was a winning team korat!

Congratulations to Ämpäri Gang who is now Nordic champion in Splatoon 2 and who is also allowed to go to Paris on March 9-10 to fight to become European champion in Splatoon 2.
