As most of you probably already know, Nintendo is set to release their Switch console on the 3rd of March. So as you might imagine, the hype and excitement is pretty high at the moment (Sweden´s Nintendo Switch pre-launch event sure proved that point). In the matter of fact, it’s said that the Switch demand is so high that the console is most likely to be sold out on record time. Well, time will tell. As for here and now though, you might not have heard of Nintendeal’s Joy-Con dog sticker Kickstarter campaign?

It’s time to pimp your Joy-con controller (s)!

Well, if you haven’t heard about the Joy-Con dog stickers before, then feel free to read the actual description by the creator himself:

“As many have already noticed, the Joy-Con controllers (yes, we know that’s redundant) for the new Nintendo Switch console look like derpy dog faces. So we constructed a high-quality die-cut vinyl sticker to really drive that concept home. The stickers are pretty small, measuring about 1.5″ by 1”, but they’re the perfect size to fit on the face of the Joy-Con, just under the “nose.” We hope you like them as much as we do.” – Nintendeal

In other words, if you like the thought of adding a neat dog sticker to your Joy-Con controller (s), then this is the thing for you 😉 And “if” that just happens to be the case, then I’m happy to inform you that the Kickstarter campaign has been successfully funded! You see, the goal was to collect 1,000 USD, but Nintendeal has managed to rise over 5,700 USD for his Joy-Con dog sticker campaign. So that means that the Joy-Con dog stickers should be available sometime in March this year.

That’s great news for those who are interested in this product with no doubt, but what about features and such then? Well, these are the said features and requirements:

Features:
– Die-cut with no border around the sticker to improve realism on Joy-Con
– Matte laminate material
– Long-lasting, super-duper sticky
– Spill resistant maybe? (not tested)
– Cat resistant probably (yeah, kinda tested actually)
– Pretty small (a good fit)
– Easy to apply (especially if you have thumbs)
– Looks OK on other stuff
