The Munich-based (Germany) video games publisher Prime Matter and Vancouver-based (Washington, the US) indie games publisher/developer Nightdive Studios, are today very proud and thrilled to announce that they have just released a brand-new time-limited demo for their upcoming remake of the cyberpunk horror/sci-fi action/RPG”System Shock” (the said demo is available right now for PC via Steam as a part of the 2023 February edition of Steam Next Fest, which ends on February 13th).

Combining cult gameplay with all-new HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface and all-new sounds & music (it even has the original voice actor of SHODAN) the demo will allow players to experience the whole of the opening level – with no restrictions – as you face SHODAN and her terrifying minions.

Players will need to use a combination of stealth, cunning and futuristic weaponry to make their way through Citadel Station’s all-new areas, traps, puzzles and secrets to reach SHODAN.

Facing them is an army of hostile and mutated creatures – created and controlled by SHODAN herself – players will need to either fight or avoid to survive.

System Shock is available to pre-order for PC via Steam, GOG and the Epic Game Store. The title will also be releasing on PlayStation 4|5 and Xbox One and Series S|X.
