Once Human's closed beta is coming this this November

Three months after its first reveal during IGN’s Summer of Gaming, “Once Human” is now returning with an entirely new PC beta test in November (2022), and a new gameplay video showing how the development team is putting its own spin on the New Weird genre.

In the meantime, Once Human is also now available to wishlist on Steam. If you are a sandbox survival game fan, you won’t want to miss out!

Once Human is an upcoming sandbox survival game in the New Weird genre, featuring a striking art style and plenty of aberrant monsters to test players’ mettle. As a Meta-human, the player needs to unite with other survivors in a harsh environment to fight the Great Ones to take back the human world.

New Beta Test Coming in November

Once Human recently announced that it will launch a new beta test for PC in November. More details, including testing duration, will be revealed soon via official social media platforms.

Testers for this beta test will be selected through a questionnaire, which is now available on the Once Human official website oncehuman.game and at the following link https://bit.ly/3wYkJdJ. If you want to be one of the early testers, make sure to pre-register and fill out the questionnaire in advance.

Second New Weird Video Releases

Following its first reveal during IGN’s Summer of Gaming, a second worldview video for Once Human has now been released, showcasing the game’s survival sandbox mechanics and distinctive art style.

The development team has taken a deep dive into the New Weird genre to create the Once Human game world. From eerie in-game locations to the indefinable Great Ones and a fantastical background story, this game offers players the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world of the New Weird.

The new video includes real gameplay showing different areas of the game map as well as dilapidated post-apocalyptic structures and underground relics. You can also explore a range of different climates and terrains, crawling with aberrant monsters and the Great Ones. And further updates, including more extreme weather, a larger world, and more terrifying monsters are all still in the works for the official launch.
