Venus Noire’s “Seeds of Chaos” is a 18+ erotic visual novel/adventure type game (“Seed of Chaos” has been inspired by series such as “Dark Souls“, “The Witcher”, “Berserk” and adult games like “Legend of Queen Opala”, “Slavemaker” and “Corruption of Champions”), in the mould of a Shakespearean tragedy.
This is just one out of the many adventures that awaits you in “Seeds of Chaos”.
Anyways! Story time! You (the player, who for once actually play as the bad guy) have just escaped from a trap created by the two demons (Jazera and Andras), and you have just returned back to your village just to find out that it has just been destroyed.
Furthermore, your wife has been put under a spell by the village attackers as well.
“Seeds of chaos” displays some really impressive and beautiful visuals in terms of artstyle, graphics and animations.
Well, the bad news doesn’t end there. You see, while being captured and spending months in a cell, you are tasked with destroying all that you hold dear for your new masters.
It doesn’t take long before you get to see some nice lewd scenes such as this one right here :3
From the start, the story is certainly compelling, with a lot happening before you get to the main part of the game. The first of the sex scenes arrive early too and, like the others, feels quite natural to the story.
This section details the world and it’s rules as you come across them.
There is a lot of detail given during the initial “introduction”, so much so, that an expansive glossary of the terms used in the game is provided.
Most of what is narrated, said and done makes sense, so there are only a few occasions where looking up details is needed.
Yes, you guessed it, this is the world map of “Seeds of Chaos”.
Quite a few of the options that you are given determine the course of the story, none more so than the choices you take during your indentured servitude.
Such as decapitating an old friend or letting a historic building burn, for example (most of the choices available are of the questionable variety at the least).
This is where you get to pick what the librarian is to research.
However, do your job well, and you could well spend the night in the company of your wife (who is also being seduced by Andras).
However, once you start working for the two demons, the character of the game starts to shift slightly away from the visual novel aspect to a slightly more RPG adventuring and management style of game.
This is what the personal status screen looks like in “Seeds of chaos” (it’s nothing fancy nor extravagant, but it works).
Even so, it’s worth pointing out that how much the map part will change over time is unknown..But at the moment, most of the information isn’t needed and does make missing the important parts (moral levels for example) easy.
Believe it or not, but you are actually trusted enough to run the demon’s castle all by yourself (was that really a wise thing to do? Well, it’s all up to you to prove yourself).
Other than that, the map system works pretty well – just a matter of clicking of one of six hexagons to move to the appropriate place, and if something interesting happens, then the visual novel side kicks in again.
Later on in the game, you are even trusted enough to be put in charge of the demon’s castle to manage their funds and research.
“Seeds of chaos” offers some very nice and well-made lewd content.
The RPG side of “Seeds of Chaos” is certainly quite complex and would certainly satisfy anyone into management games. Especially so as you also get to upgrade your own weapons too.
There’s quite a lot of different interspecies sex scenes to be found in the game, and that includes everything from orcs, demons to minotaurs.
And by upgrading yourself, you should be able to bring your targets to their knees quicker. Thus, that should be something that should please your masters with no doubt.
I really like “Seeds of chaos”, but the game is far from flawless. For example, there are occasional grammatical errors to be found in “Seeds of chaos”. Furthermore, the world map is a bit too cluttered.
So in overall, “Seeds of Chaos” is a more complex +18 erotic visual novel than usual. Simply put, “Seeds of Chaos” is well worth giving a try. Especially as there is a lot to do (and see).
That’s also why it’s going to be really interesting to see what the full version of “Seeds of Chaos” will be like (hopefully “Seeds of Chaos” is going to be even better with its full release).
Pros:
+ Very nice graphics with basic animation
+ Story is engrossing Shakespearian tragedy type story
+ NTR scenes can be skipped
+ The sex scenes are good and appropriate, with sound effects too
+ A lot to do – certainly won’t be completed quickly
+ The game’s soundtrack is pretty okay
Cons:
– You may find some of the terms initially confusing – fortunately there is a guide to help.
– Currently the world map is a bit too cluttered
– Occasional grammatical errors

If you are looking for a complex (narrative and gameplay wise) +18 erotic visual novel, then Seeds of Chaos will be well worth looking at. Why? Because the game offers a strong story and multiple management systems (not to mention some really nice erotic content), so it would be hard to get bored with the game.
