The Poland-based indie games development studio Pyramid Games and video games publisher PlayWay, are today very glad and excited to announce that their rover sim game “Rover Mechanic Simulator” is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop.

“Rover Mechanic Simulator” is a space simulation game where you play as a mechanic working on one of the first Martian colonies. You must repair and maintain the Mars rovers so that the remaining crew can collect detailed information about the planet.

For those interested in space, in particular Mars and rovers, Rover Mechanic Simulator helps you gain experience, earn higher ranks to undertake more difficult tasks and become the best engineer.

Rover Mechanic Simulator would have a discount promotion of 30% off for about 2 weeks after its release and will be available in America and Europe Nintendo stores at 9:00 AM (PST) and 3:00 PM (CET) today.

The game is currently available on Steam and Humble for $11.99USD and on Xbox for $13.99.

Features:

Use tools: There are many devices at your disposal that will allow you to dismantle and maintain even the smallest parts of the rover. Use different tools such as a screwdriver, compressor, soldering iron, 3D printer and many more.

Fix integrated circuits: You can use special workbenches that can be used to restore damaged IC’s and clean and maintain parts that have worn out during rover’s work.

Be careful: Their design is very delicate and hasty decisions can increase damage to fragile scientific instruments, which will require more time and resources to complete the job.

Restore the legendary rovers: There are many devices on Mars which served people in the past but broke down at some point. You can fix and restore them to service.
