The Norwich-based (the UK) indie games developer Newfangled Games are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just launched an expanded demo for their upcoming 2D paper folding puzzle adventure “Paper Trail” (the said expanded demo is available right now for PC via Steam).
The expanded demo features four new worlds to explore, brand new characters to interact with, support for 13 languages (including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (LatAm), Spanish (ES), Portuguese (BR), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Turkish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese) with Steam Deck support coming soon after, Paper Trail’s new demo is available play now.
“Paper Trail” is a colourful top-down puzzle adventure game following the life of Paige, a budding academic, as she steps out into an origami-crafted world to uncover its secrets and pursue her dreams. Fold the world to create hidden paths, discover new areas, and meet new characters in a beautiful-handcrafted world.
To celebrate the newly expanded demo, Paper Trail also featured in the ‘Ones to Play’ section of the Future Games Show last night.

Paper Trail will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Series X│S, Nintendo Switch and the Netflix mobile app in August 2023. PC players can Wishlist already here.
