The Melbourne-based (Australia) indie games developer Super Spin Digital today announced wigh great joy and thrill that their intergalactic rhythm game “Spin Rhythm XD”, is coming to the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop on October 26th, 2023.

Super Spin Digital is also releasing their first DLC on October 26 on both Steam and Nintendo Switch. Together with Monstercat, they have hand-picked a selection of 10 tracks containing a collection of nostalgic beats, popular Monstercat classics and some hidden gems, an exclusive wheel skin, and more.

Originally released on Steam in March 2023 and with over 3,000 overwhelmingly positive reviews since then, Spin Rhythm XD is a kinetic action rhythm game that provides players with precise, hand-crafted levels across five different difficulties and a deep commitment to accessibility.

The title offers over 60 tracks both licensed and original from a variety of electronic artists, and players can use fluid, analog-inspired controls to match colors and beats. Players can customize their experience, enjoy a full suite of accessibility features, and compete on global leaderboards to hone their skills and climb to the top.

Super Spin Digital (SSD) is an independent game developer based in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to bringing the golden age of gaming fun into the future.

Formed by veteran game developers Stephen Last and Shath Maguire who met at Halfbrick Studios working in “The Ninja Pack” – original creators of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, and adding Dave Curro, friend, colleague, and professional musician. SSD has brought together a small team of talent from across Australia to produce our dream rhythm game.

They were huge fans of Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, and Rock Band, and want Spin Rhythm to feel like the spiritual successor to these classic rhythm games with a contemporary aesthetic and soundtrack, as well as a focus on customisation and accessibility.
