Frankfurt am Main (Germany) November 19th, 2015 – Crytek has partnered with VIGAMUS Academy / Link Campus University in Rome, Italy, to launch a graduate course dedicated to virtual reality development.
The VR Development Using CRYENGINE Masters course, led by Daniele Azara, Professor of Game Design and Head of Development at the VIGAMUS Academy / Link Campus University, has been developed in conjunction with Crytek. Students will use CRYENGINE to create virtual reality content, and gain insight from Crytek staff working on full-scale virtual reality productions today. Crytek has one of the largest dedicated VR development teams in the industry, with several projects in the production pipeline including Robinson: TheJourney.
The course will give students the skills required to work in the rapidly evolving and groundbreaking virtual reality industry, and will cover:
· The Specific dynamics of game development and the wider gaming industry
· The developer production process
· A wide range of technical competencies using CRYENGINE
