The Vienna-based (Austria) indie games developer Reignite Games are today very happy and thrilled to announce that they have just released a brand-new demo for their upcoming roguelike adventure “Panta Rhei” (the said demo is available right now for PC via Steam).

Rhei is a game that pushes its deeply emotional story to the forefront. As Phi, a Guardian of Time, you will learn to wield extremely powerful abilities whilst protecting the Realm of Time and facing the shadows of Phi’s past.

The expanded demo allows players to explore four of the game’s locations – including the newly released “Gate to the Wilderness”, which sees the protagonist, Phi, venture outside the sanctity of their home for the first time.

Phi has spent an eternity tending to the Garden of Past, secluded from the rest of the realm – until their peace is disturbed by an ancient force that rises and threatens to destroy everything they have grown to love. Face hostile creatures, solve puzzles and explore the Realm of Time as you step into a thought-provoking story that will have you questioning your own perceptions of time.

In Panta Rhei, time is not only a resource but also your ultimate tool and weapon. Using Phi’s ability to pause, rewind and accelerate time, players can rewrite their mistakes, outmanoeuvre enemies, create new pathways and unleash devastating attacks. These time-bending mechanics empower players to decide how they play, and how they will evolve Phi’s abilities to match their preferred playstyle.

The Realm of Time is brimming with mysteries and secrets waiting to be discovered. Each location presents unique challenges, gradually unveiling more of the word as Phi completes side quests and purifies the land. Cultivate your Garden of the Past to strengthen your chances in future runs, as you gather and combine resources to craft unique items to enhance your journey.

Panta Rhei is set to launch on Steam in 2025, inviting players to embark on Phi’s epic journey to the Origin of Time. The full game will include over 25 locations across three diverse biomes – each teeming with secrets, challenges and breathtaking environments to explore.
