Ah, “Balls of steel”. Every time i hear that. I think of three things. 1. Duke Nukem, 2. Pinball games and 3. The PS1 game “Kula World”.

But it´s been a long time since i even played anything quite like “Kula World“. Years really, but then i heard about Projectile Entertainment´s 3D physics based platformer “Momentum“.

momentum balls of steel

Duke Nukem LOVES balls of steel, and “Momentum”.

So i just thought for myself “Hell, i´ll give it a go!”. Done and said, i recorded almost 30 minutes of gameplay from the Momentum demo.

But, yeah. I suck at it xD But hopefully, there will be some entertainment value to it for you guys to enjoy. So, i hope you like it =)

About Momentum:
Experience a new perspective with Momentum, a physics based platformer. Choose one of many unlockable balls, and then skillfully maneuver it through up to 100 levels across three worlds, each featuring its own tracks and gameplay mechanics.

Race the clock as you rotate labyrinths and use gravity to your advantage. But be careful, because you could easily lose control. Momentum’s zen atmosphere contrasts with its challenging gameplay.

The soothing soundtrack and detailed environments combine to create a truly unique, relaxing vibe.

Gameplay:
Momentum successfully balances challenging gameplay with a relaxing mood—thanks to a  soothing, Zen-like electronic soundtrack. With “tracks” akin to a 3D rollercoaster and top-notch sphere animation/texturing, the goal is to race against the clock and maneuver a sphere to its destination—making use of gravity and momentum to navigate each course.

Key features:
– Manipulate labyrinths: Master gravity to guide your sphere to its destination.
– Balance speed with caution: Race against the clock, but beware: The road ahead is
treacherous.
– Achieve a state of Zen: Let the music be your guide. Master the game, and master
yourself.
– Unlock unique skins: Customize your sphere with a variety of skins, including an awesome
hamster ball.
– Play your own way: Quick and dirty or carefully confident; it doesn’t matter as long as
the sphere survives the journey. Use wit and skill to find the quickest paths while
avoiding certain death.
