Wakefield, July 12 2017 – Storm Wolf Studios today announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for “Battle For Enkeon” – a turn-based strategy game to be released on PC and Steam. Wakefield-based indie developer Storm Wolf Studios are seeking an initial target of £15,000 in order to fund development of Battle For Enkeon, which is expected to be released in 2018.

Set to run for 30 days, the Battle For Enkeon Kickstarter campaign launched on Monday 31st July. Backers can pledge for a range of rewards, including a copy of the official soundtrack, a Rebel Leader’s plaque and a custom statue of an in-game character. Also on offer are copies of the game itself and an exclusive t-shirt. Battle For Enkeon is the studio’s first ever release, and as self-confessed hardcore gamers themselves, is the result of many thousands of hours of work developing their first title.

If the Kickstarter achieves its target, the money raised will go directly into further development for the game, including modelling, animation and voice over costs. Stretch goals for the project include a story mode, online multiplayer mode, fully destructible environments and much more. About the developer
Battle for Enkeon is the debut game from Storm Wolf Studios Ltd, an indie games developer based in Wakefield. Consisting of John Grunwell (director and lead programmer), Martin Muller (director and modeller/animator) and Adam Muller (script writer and modeller/animator), the company was formed in September 2015 under the name Hydra Studios before becoming Storm Wolf Studios a year later. Dedicated to creating ‘games for gamers’, their first game Battle For Enkeon is scheduled for release in 2018.
