I may not be an expert when it comes to Japanese, but I do know a thing or two about figurines (I’ve sold and bought quite a few myself over the years), and since I just happen to like “The King of Fighters” series. I simply couldn’t help to notice that appears as if Amakuni is working on a “The King of Fighters XIV” Mai Shiranui figurine (as seen in the pictures down below). You see, late last night I spotted the following tweet by Hobby Japan:

“From “THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV’ Mai Shiranui from AMAKUNI figurine decision! Sculpted Grizzly Panda who is in charge. To stay tuned because it is currently in production.” – Hobby Japan

So by the looks of it, Amakuni aims to release a “KOF XIV” figurine of  Mai Shiranui in the near future =) However, it remains to be seen what the release date and price will be. I also take it that one would have to import the figurine from Japan, since it seems like Amakuni don’t ship their figurines globbaly. Nevertheless, the figure looks freaking awesome so far. So I can’t wait to see the final product.
