I don’t recall that I have ever spoken about my relationship and history with the NES console before (I shall do that some day). However, I/we have indeed written a handful of posts about the old-school “Mega Man” titles in the past (posts such as “Mega Man Redux“, “Mega Man Unlimited and Mega Man Revolution” and “Play-Asia´s wearable Mega Man helmet replica“). Even so, it’s been a long while since we covered anything “Mega Man” related. Well, I’m going to break that lack of “Mega Man” content streak here and now. You see, just the other night I spotted a really awesome custom airbrushed “Mega Man” NES console (as seen in the pictures down below).

So who made this awesome NES paint job then? Easy, the job was done by no one lese than CKSIGNS1:

I bet that a lot of “Mega Man” fans would like to own a NES console like this one.

I wish that I owned an NES console like this, but the only one that I got is the original grey one.

That’s a really cool signature with no doubt.

So who exactly is CKSIGNS1 then? (aka “Ck Signs Custom Nes Paint”) Well, the short answer would be that his an artist/Gamer/Modder from Canada. The long answer would be this:

“I have been drawing, painting /airbrushing professionally for over 15 years I run a small art studio based on the east coast of Canada painting custom motorcycles building signs and painting wall murals ….. the custom painted consoles you see on my page here are a great way for me to combine 2 passions of mine : art and retro gaming. I bet that Capcom would be pretty impressed with CKSIGNS1 work.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think that picture would look really good on a T-shirt.

Anyways, I’m really impressed by CKSIGNS1 work. So if you feel the same way as I do, then you should most definitely check out CKSIGNS1 other paint jobs =) (you will find tons of pictures and whatnot via CKSIGNS1 social media pages, so feel free to use the links that I have added further down the page) Other than that, for those who didn’t know it.

The very first “Mega Man” game was released to the NES console back in 1987, and the latest title (“Mega Man 10“) was released in 2010 (the “Mega Man Legacy Collection” was released in August this year though), and between 1987 to now, there have been tons of “Mega Man” games. So if you intend to playthrough every single “Mega Man” game there is, then it’s going to take quite a while.
