As some of you might already know, the “Kirby” series celebrated it’s 25th anniversary back in August this year. Well, what you might not know is that Nintendo aims to release “Kirby Battle Royale” for the 3DS in Europe on the 3rd of November (it’s said that North America will get the game on the 19th of January next year). You see, Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just told us the following via e-mail:
“Challenge your friends and let the fight begin! On November 3rd, Kirby Battle Royale is released to the game consoles of the Nintendo 3DS family. A demo for the game is released at Nintendo eShop today so that you can test three of the game’s 10 different game modes. If you download a demon, you can also transfer spades from the demon to the full-scale version of the game when released. If you do, you can unlock Meta Knight as a playable character.
Kirby Battle Royale is a 3D action game where you take the role of Kirby and fight against other “Kirbies”. There are 10 different game modes and 13 different copy capabilities for Kirby to unlock. Everything can be enjoyed online or locally against other players. There is also a Story Mode when you want to play the game all by yourself.
If you only have the game, but know a lot with a Nintendo 3DS, you can use the Download Play feature, where up to four players can fight each other even if only one of the players has the game.
Battle Arena: Fly like a butterfly, but stick like a bee. Here it is true to smock the opponents seriously. Use Kirby’s copying skills so that the opponents do not know how to attack next time.
Apple Scramble: A tactical two to two-position. Each team must take apples from a tree and place them in a specific place to score. Also take care to attack your opponents and take their apples. Keep in mind, however, that your opponents can go after your apples. Things are also put to the fore when it starts to appear valuable golden apples.
Crazy Theater: Here you do not really know what’s going to happen next. Each round in this game situation offers a new challenge. You may have to attack a specific opponent, avoid a meteor shower or solve something gently during time pressure. Imagine your opponents will not make it easier for you. Quick reflexes are not wrong in this play mode.
When you make progress in the game, for example in Story Mode, you will get coins, called Battle Coins. These coins can be used to get different gadgets to Kirby. If you have any Kirby-related amiibo you can use them to unlock more gadgets in the game. Provided you have a New Nintendo 3DS or NFC Reader / Writer accessory if you play on a Nintendo 3DS
Downloading the demo version of Kirby Battle Royale will allow you to test the Battle Arena, Apple Scramble and Crazy Theater modes.” – Nintendo Sweden
