I am super happy and excited to inform you guys and girls that Hungry Pixel’s (Daniel Barreno and Isabel Raposo) brutal and naughty 2D adventure game “NetherWorld” (we wrote about the game for the very first time back in July of 2017) is coming to Kickstarter in February. Yes, it’s 100% true, because Hungry Pixel just released the following information:
“NetherWorld is a horizontal side-scrolling action game, where character development, dialogues and narrative have a special role.Immerse yourself in a sinister world, explore the world, make friends (or enemies) fight against grotesque bosses or drink a coffee in the town’s bar. Help us reach as many people as possible and make our dream come true. See you on February 20!” – Hungry Pixel via thunderclap
So, why am I so excited about this announcement then? Well, it’s simple really. You see, “NetherWorld” is influenced by “Shadow of the colossus” and the looks and feels of the game made me think about games such as “Heart of Darkness“, “Another World” and “Don’t look back“. I also love the fact that there’s a rather naughty/lewd side to “NetherWorld” as well.
That’s also why I’m going to do what I can to help out “NetherWorld” once Hungry Pixel launches their Kickstarter campaign for the game on the 20th of February, because I truly would love to get a chance to play the full version of the game (“NetherWorld” is said to launch to PC in mid-2018). Other than that, Hungry Pixel also informed us that they have launched a brand-new video for NetherWorld” (you can watch the said video down below). So don’t miss out on that one =)
And with that said, what’s your take on “NetherWorld” so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
