I have been a huge fan of Nintendo´s Metroid series ever since the very first Metroid game came out for the NES back in 1986.

And i was actually really happy to find out that the main character of Metroid, was/are a woman (Samus Aran).

Because back then, i was around that age when you started to realize that girls ain´t half that bad (i was about 10-11 years old). And i have liked Samus Aran (and girls) ever since then.

But there´s another big star of Metroid as well. And that´s all the soundtracks that´s been made for the series throughout the years Kenji Yamamoto, Hirokazu Tanaka and Kuniaki Haishima).

And one of the very best Metroid cover bands out there (imo), are Stemage (Metroid Metal). I mean, just listen to the “Lower Norfair” song for example. Epic beyond epic!
