As some of you might remember, about one month ago Luegolu3go Studios released their 8-Bit 2D adventure/platformer “Nogalious” for PC via Steam. Well, Luegolu3go just informed us that “Nogalious” is coming to MSX in October this year:

“Hello, I’m glad to announce that due to the success of NOGALIOUS on PC –available both on physical and digital formats–, the game will be launched on MSX in October.

This 8-bit action platformer, originally funded from Kickstarter with a total of 246 backers, will be released in a classic retro-style cartridge specially made for nostalgic fans. A DLC containing this version will be featured on Steam too so everybody can enjoy it.

NOGALIOUS on MSX will be sold either separately (https://bit.ly/2PPONBs) or in a bundle including the box, the manual and the original soundtrack (https://bit.ly/2PPONBs).

Those who have already pre-ordered a single copy of the title can obtain the full bundle just by paying the difference: https://bit.ly/2PMiLWN. The promotional code UPGRADE saves them from paying the shipping costs of the remaining assets.

The physical copy of the game on PC can currently be acquired independently (https://bit.ly/2oo2xqd), in deluxe format (https://bit.ly/2NaOf6V) or in the summer bundle, which contains the game, the deluxe box, the game manual, and the original soundtrack (https://bit.ly/2NuQ3Ip).

People who backed our original campaign on Kickstarter will get the poster, and the original soundtrack for free.”Raúl Nogales, Luegolu3go Studios

“Nogalious” is already out for PC, but now the game is coming to the MSX computer as well.

Yes, you read it right the first time. “Nogalious” is actually being released to the old retro computer MSX in a cartridge format. So if you like 8-Bit 2D adventure/platformers and just happen to own an MSX computer, then keep your eyes open for the MSX release of “Nogalious” in October (you can watch the game’s MSX trailer down below).
