It seems like people such as Jessica Nigri, Vampybitme, Maria Ramos AKA Mariedoll, Yaya Han, and Ardella D’Avalon might have to look for new jobs in the near future.

And the same thing goes for Booth babes as well. As it seems like the social justice movement has found a new tree to bark at. This time they target cosplayers that look “too” good, and booth babes and conventions.

As the social justice movement aims to roll out a complete ban on both Booth babes and hot cosplayers at conventions in America (for starter).

And from what i´ve heard all of this started with PAX East. Or to be exact, “some” people felt uncomfortable about the cosplayers and booth babes. So PAX decided to get rid of them both (without letting other people have a say about it).

booth babes

Because sex sells right?

In fact, this is PAX East´s actual booth babe policies:

“PAX has a strict ‘no booth babe’ policy with the purpose of creating an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome, and the focus is on games, not hired booth staff.

Booth babes are defined as staff of ANY gender used by exhibitors to promote their products at PAX by using overtly sexual or suggestive methods. Partial nudity, the aggressive display of cleavage and the navel, and shorts/skirts higher than 4” above the knee are not allowed. If for any reason an exhibit and/or its contents are deemed objectionable to PAX management, the exhibitor will be asked to alter the attire of its staff.

Cosplayed characters that are playable in-game are an exception to this rule (within reason), and exhibitors must obtain permission from show management prior to the show.

If for any reason an exhibit and/or its contents are deemed objectionable to PAX management, the exhibitor will be asked to alter the attire of its staff or remove those staff from the show.

Cosplaying attendees may be asked to alter or modify their costume if it is considered overtly sexual.”

However, i don´t know if PAX East has had those policies for a long time, or if they added it during PAX East 2015. But it seems like it´s the later (thus all the rants twitter and so on).

And it´s a really sensitive and controversial question too. As some people think that the SJW´s has just found yet another thing to suck out the fun out of, while other´s welcome the ban on Booth babes and sexy cosplayers (as they see it as sexism, it also make them uncomfortable and distracted at conventions).

I wonder what Jessica Nigri thinks about all of this?

It also made me think about another thing. Does these policies exist elsewhere? Like at gyms for example? And what about all of those sexy underwear and bikini ads?

You know, the one´s that actually causes traffic accidents? (those should at least get removed imo, as they really pose a REAL threat to the safety of society).

Anyhow, to get on topic again. This is apparently how the social justice movement thinks about the whole thing with Booth babes and “too” hot cosplayers at conventions:

“Cosplayed characters that are playable in-game are an exception to this rule (within reason), and exhibitors must obtain permission from show management prior to the show.”

“These sexy cosplay girls are too distracting, let’s ban them for the events and make this a ‘pure’ gaming fandom experience. We need to make sure everyone is comfortable. Jessica Nigri’s cleavage might be too distracting for the men and women here. We’re just trying to be progressive.”

I don´t know if it´s just me, but it feels like the SJW movement is power-hungry to the max. In fact, every time i hear (or see) their rants it reminds me about the Queen of Hearts from “Alice in wonderland”.

As she screams “Off with their heads!” at everything and everyone that does not suit her own pesonal taste. Because here´s the thing, what will the SWJ´s target next?

TV-shows? Cartoons? Animes? Sports? I even saw someone joking about that there should be a SJW free convention in America (not that i know how that would be possible though).

But what do you boys and girls think about this? Should there be a full ban on Booth babes and sexy cosplayers throughout America?
