TeamKRAMA’s “Seed Of The Dead” is a cross between “Left 4 Dead” (think of all the survivors – except for the main player) being replaced by lovely females and “School Girl Zombie Hunter” (with the types of characters and naming of the enemies), and adding quite a bit of sex in for good measure.

So, one of your companions suffers from low health? Have no worries! Because that’s an easy problem to solve: Get your clothes off and do it right there and then in front an oncoming zombie horde and your fellow team-mates (which they never mention in the visual novel part).
What better time to have sex than when surrounded by zombies?
Does one of your teammates suffer from low health as well? No problem either: Do it right there and then and they’ll be fit for fighting in no time!
Post mission sex with variable positions, of both the camera and sex varieties (yay!).
However, it’s actually not quite that simple. You see, there is a gauge that you have to click/press in for effective thrusts, which enables you to fill up a girl’s love heart meter quickly in the allotted time
If any of the girls are bitten, then they end up being raving nymphomaniacs.
Furthermore, if you are going at it in the middle of a crowd of zombies it’s very easy to lose rhythm as you are jostled around, thus reducing the overall effectiveness of your skills.
Yep, the zombies love to get in on the action too (zombies need love too!).
In addition to be able to have sex anytime whilst fighting off the zombie hoards, there are also sex scenes available after you have successfully completed a mission, complete with changeable camera positions.
You will be busy picking a lot of doors and while not throughout the game, all whilst the rest of your team have to deal with the zombies.
Moving on from that, what’s the actual game like like then? Well, the visual novel aspect is good fun, and features all the usual character tropes: The yandere who acts like a princess because she is one – or so she says anyway; the happy-go-lucky schoolgirl and the serious older girl.
Seed of the dead’s gameplay isn’t bad at all (a lewd version of “Left for dead” and “Killing Floor” comes to mind).
With the exception of the protagonist, all the characters are fully voiced and it’s very nicely done with no doubt. The story is pretty standard, although quite good fun and humorous too at times.
The baseball bat swings are quick, but doesn’t do much damage.
In the visual novel part, the girls look very nice indeed although only basically animated, whilst in-game.
Especially when you are doing lewd things with them, they do look a bit plastic – but that is something that can be dealt with in any future upgrades.
Say hello to three attractive heroines of “Seed of the dead” (Hikari Kondo, Kirara Suzune and Aya Kagano).
The game’s movement is fine – you can walk (or run) as usual, and there are a variety of weapons (and ammo) scattered around that can be collected (or used to replace an existing weapon).
Seed of the dead’s lewd content is very nice, but sadly enough, it’s censored.
Please keep this in mind though, reloading a weapon takes time and you can’t swap weapons during the process unfortunately…Nor can it be canceled. In other words, you are very vulnerable for attacks while reloading your gun.
Other than that, you have four weapon slots – two of which are used by your standard base weapons (a baseball bat and a pistol).
If you’re not into monster and zombie love scenes, then you better avoid “Seed of the dead” as a whole, because the whole game is full of lewd monster content.
Collision detection is fine too. As you would expect when dealing with zombies, the most efficient way of dealing with them is head-shots whilst hitting them elsewhere just hurts them.
The in-game characters are nice looking for the most part. However, the characters look somewhat plastic-like (especially during the sex scenes).
Of course, there are other enemies you meet along the way, all of which can cause you problems, but the walking variety is the most common one.
There are quite a lot of things that need to be fixed and improved in “Seed of the dead”. For example, there is no manual saving, the enemy a.i can get rather odd at times. and it would be very nice if some levels weren’t as dark as a Swedish Winter night.
So in overall, “Seed of the Dead” is a fun 18+ erotic zombie FPS/dating sim that offers some pretty good quality graphics. So for the price of 12 Euros, it’s well worth getting, despite the few flaws at present.

+ In-game characters are nice although somewhat plasticey, especially during the sex scenes
+ VN characters are nice
+ Amusing story
+ Music is good
+ Nice selection of weapons, and ammo can be very limited
Cons:
– No manual saving
– Enemies just pop out of nowhere
– Enemy AI can be a bit odd occasionally
– Would like some non-dark levels…
– Censored
– FMV sections could be better

If you were looking for a lewd mixture of visual novel and a pretty sharp FPS, then “Seed of the dead” might be worth looking at, especially at the current asking price. I mean sure, the game is censored, but it’s not too bad really.
