I´m really happy over the fact that the horror games are on the rise again. But most of the really good horror games comes from the indie scene.

Games such as “Amnesia the Dark Descent”, “Penumbra: Overture”, “The Last Door and “Outlast“. And today i heard about Genomgames (a French indie studio) upcoming FPS/horror game “Alpages: The five books” (for 32/64 bit Windows).

This is not a game for the faint-hearted.

And by the looks of it. “Alpages: The five books” looks like a mix of “Slender: 8 pages”, “Outlast” and those scary close encounters (Alma anyone?) from the “F.E.A.R.” series.

This project aims to create effects of fear and fright with visuals, sounds and atmosphere. This download is a prototype of the final game. You will certainly come across any problems or glitches. Accept my apologies for that.
