Since the dawn of video games there has been discussions about if video games can be considered as art or not.

Well, the Chrysler Museum of Art (Norfolk, Virginia, US) is trying to answer that question with their own event called “The Art of Video Games”

I can´t speak for everybody else, but i think that “some” video games can be considered as art. Just take “Okami” for example, the whole game is like an interactive panting.

And in “Minecraft” you can actually create art. Anyhow, the “The Art of Video Games” event will take place between February 14th, and May 10th.

So if you live in America (or plan to go there in the near future), then don´t miss out on this awesome video game art event!

“The Chrysler presents an exhibition that does more than trace 40 years of creative artistry and technological advances in digital entertainment. It poses the question of whether video games deserve to be considered art.”
