I don’t know if you guys and girls still remember Talegames upcoming 2D 16-bit metroidvania ARPG “Faeland“? Because truth be told, there has been a very long time since I/we covered anything at all from the game.
As a matter of fact. I haven’t heard much about the game since it got fully funded via Kickstarter back in April of 2018 (I wrote my PC preview for “Faeland” in April of 2018 as well)
Well, the silence has just been broken. You see, Talegames just informed us that they are taking “Faeland” to the Pax West 2019 event in Seattle:
“We wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news! We will be showcasing Faeland at PAX West 2019 in Seattle, Aug 30 – Sept 02!
We are proud Faeland was selected to be in the PAX Rising Section, which is a curated section the folks at PAX describe as: “PAX Rising showcases engaging games developed by smaller teams. The folks at PAX believe these titles have a chance to rise above their modest beginnings, by growing as a company, establishing a fan base or pushing the industry.”
We are thrilled about PAX West and look forward to traveling over 3,000 miles from Miami and bring Faeland to one of the biggest events of the video-game industry!
If you are in town, we would love to meet you! Make sure you pass by our Booth #1801, test Faeland’s latest super fun and challenging demo and chat with us about our development process.
Thoughts on Gacubash Miami
Gacubash Miami was on point. We gathered valuable feedback, as well as new ideas to implement. We were able to test the new demo and fine-tune the first boss’ level of difficulty.”

“Faeland” is said to launch for Windows, MAC and Linux in December this year. However, it remains to be seen when the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch version will be released though.
In other words, if you got any plans to visit Pax West 2019 in Seattle, then you could get a chance to see and play the latest demo version of “Faeland” on-site (I sure wish that I could do that myself).
Other than that, Talegames also had us know that they have just uploaded a brand-new video for “Faeland” via Youtube. So don’t miss out on that one =) (you can check out the said video further down the page)
And with that said, are you excited about the news that “Faeland” is coming to Pax West 2019?
Well, let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
