Not to stir up the “Angry Joe Vs Nintendo” drama even more. But i couldn´t help to notice that Youtube is now full of video responses to Angry Joe´s “Final Nintendo Angry Rant! – Anti-Youtuber Policies”. And Joe posted that video back in  April (April the 4th to be exact). But it seems like it has taken some time for people to find out about Joe´s Nintendo rant videos (yes, he has made more than one video about Nintendo).

However, one of the more famous video responses was done by CUPodcast (Angry Joe’s Anti-Nintendo Rant About Copyright Policy) back in April.

I really love the fact that some people still belive that they record their videos in the very same room…

In that video Pat the NES Punk (and Ian Ferguson) pretty much ripped Angry Joe apart on his rants about Nintendos copyright Policy. And there´s a lot of confusion in terms of recording Nintendo related videos and uploading them on Youtube. Because you CAN do that, but you CAN`T monetize on any Nintendo related videos that you upload (unless you have signed up for Nintendos Youtube partnership program).

But according to #CUPodcast (and other fellow Youtubers) Angry Joe made it sound like Nintendo forced him to remove his videos from Youtube. But the truth is this, Angry Joe removed the videos all by himself, simply because he couldn´t monetize on his Nintendo videos. And that´s where the “Angry Joe Nintendo hoax rants” comes into the picture.

Because Angry Joe has been around on Youtube since 2008, and Joe has made almost 700 videos to this day. So there´s no way in hell that he couldn´t have figured out that Nintendo would block him from monetizing on their videos on Youtube. So people basically say that Angry Joe´s Nintendo rants was nothing more than a hoax and a pr-stunt.

Yes, it´s true that Nintendo have some really bad copyright policies for “let´s play” related videos, no doubt about that. But it´s their IP´s, and Nintendo can do whatever they like with them. And that includes copyright flagging videos on Youtube. And that made people (his viewers and critics) ask themselves the following question.

“Is Angry Joe making videos just for the money? Or does he really enjoy making them?” Because Joe could just have let his videos stay on Youtube. Sure, he get´s no money from Youtube, but he still get´s views, new subs and maybe even donations.

But that´s just my honest opinions and thoughts on this matter. So what do you guys think about all of this? Did Angry Joe pull a pr-stunt? Or was he right about the stuff that he said about Nintendos Copyright Policy?
