Some of you might be familiar with tactical RPGs such as “Chrono Trigger” (Snes), “Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together” (Snes) and “PoPoLoCrois“(PS1, PS2, PSP and PSN). But for those who ain´t, look those games up asap! Because those games are worthy of your time and money for sure. Anyhow, when i saw some pictures (and concept pictures) for bbreakfast´s upcoming 2.5D Tactics RPG “Arcadian Atlas” (for Windows and MAC), i came to think of those games that i mentioned earlier.

“Arcadian Atlas” looks like a mix of “Chrono Trigger” and “Ragnarok Online”.

At least when it comes to looks, feel and design. But so far there´s just a handful of pictures of “Arcadian Atlas”, so there´s no trailer nor gameplay videos for the game just yet. But hopefully we will get to see some in-game footage from “Arcadian Atlas” in the near future!

Arcadian Atlas is a Tactics RPG that gives a nod to classics with its strategic battles & wartime setting, but delivers a truly unique job class system, mind bending battle strategies and in-depth crafting quests to ensure its anything but just another tactics game. The world of Arcadia is one of lush forests, cliff-side cities & overgrown ruins beautifully detailed in 2.5D pixel art, juxtaposed with the power-hungry, cut throat style of deceit & betrayal that requires the player to carefully strategize each move or face certain death.

Arcadian Atlas starts off in Dantalion, a kingdom wrapped in political turmoil with heirs clawing at the throne & a war to the east raging on.
