I don´t know if it´s just me. But don´t the SJW´s have a lot of power and a lot of things to say about pretty much everything (and nothing) nowadays? I still remember all the rants about Lionhead Studios #NationalCleavageDay tweet (“Lionhead Studios deleted their #NationalCleavageDay tweet“). But that´s what the SJW´s do, they gather their internet mob and then start to cyberbully the living hell out of their target (s).
But that´s how the how the SJW´s work. As that´s their mindstate by default. And so far the SJW movement have had quite a few game devs and expos to cave in for their demands (read “censorship”). And this time it´s the Rage Expo that had to undergo a total makeover in order to get the SJW´s “seal of quality ” approval.
To be exact, Rage Expo had to change the design for their own mascot Roxy (as pictured below). All so that they could please the SJW´s ranting internet mob.
This is beyond messed up imo. Why should the SJW´s ALWAYS tell what´s okay and what´s not? You know who they remind me of? They remind me of North Korea’s dictatorship (they set the rules for everything. And they WILL censor everything that they don’t approve of). I mean, some people will probably say something like “So what? It´s just a mascot, and it´s rather sexist anyhow”.
Sure, i can admit that Roxy could have had “some” more cloths on her (as she´s a mascot after all). But that´s all up to the creator (owners) of Roxy to decide, it´s not my call to force them to make that change. Because imo, creators shouldn´t cave in just because some people (not the majority) get´s offended by their creations.
Because the last thing that i want, is a Tumblrism kind of world. A world where everyone is afraid that people might get offended by what they say, wear, think or create. Because that´s just as bad as living in a police state or under total dictatorship.
And sure, Roxy may “just” be a mascot. But a mascot today might be something else tomorrow, and something else the day after tomorrow. You get my point? The SJW´s will continue to remove and censor things which they don´t approve of. Everything from comics, games, music, movies, tv-series to Protein world´s “Are you beach body ready” posters and ads.
So it´s about time that we put our feet down and stand up against the ranting SJW`s (which Protein World also did). Because i don´t like censorship, internet mobs that scream for blood, nor bullies that´s using bullying tactics to get their will (and demands) through.
