I’m by no means a stranger to VR games nor VR tech. Even so, though, I have mainly experienced and enjoyed VR games and VR tech either at game/tech events, in retail stores, or at my friend’s place. “Why is that?” So you might wonder.

Well…In my case, the main reason is the price tag of having to buy a high-end Gaming PC and a VR-headset. in-order to be able to enjoy VR games like they are meant to be enjoyed.

Anyways, I think you get the idea. Besides, I still keep myself updated on the VR front, as I get more and more interested in actually buying a VR-headset and a new Gaming rig. Especially since the VR games are just becoming more and more advanced, well-made, and intriguing.

Speaking of which, as I just happen to be a huge fan of horror games, that’s another great motivator for me to get into VR in my own home. Because I see more and more interesting VR-based horror games in the current year.

As a matter of fact, I just found out this morning that Arcadia (an indie games developer) has just released the V2021.02.28 update for their VR horror action/adventure PC game “HINGE” (an update that is said to fix and balance out a lot of things in the game, and the update is available right now via Steam):

“Update V2021.02.28

Over the past few months, HINGE development team have been reworking location lighting in detail in order to achieve performance gains taking into account feedback from gamers. During the process of increasing the FPS speed, the task to keep the existing beauty of the location has been met also. Thus, Update V2021.02.28 includes:

Improved FPS
Improved hints
Added Native Oculus Driver Support
Improved map
Added highlighting of gameplay objects
Fixed bug with door handle
Fixed saves bug”

Nice indeed, and by the looks of it,  it sure sounds like these fixes were very much needed based on the feedback and reviews via the game’s Steam page…

Nevertheless, I’m going to give “HINGE” (and its developers) the benefit of the doubt, since I found the game’s latest game trailer to be rather cool-looking (you can watch the said trailer further down the page).

So if you also just happen to be interested in “HINGE”, then you will find more information about the game and its latest trailer further down the page!

And with that said, what’s your take on “HINGE” so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!

About HINGE:
In HINGE (developer – Arcadia) you get into a nightmarish building where high-quality graphics and sound effects do the trick to evoke the necessary thrill. Gamers struggle for survival in an oppressive atmosphere of horror that chases you wherever you go.

The game is set in an American metropolis of the early 20th century right after the Spanish flu epidemic. It takes place in a skyscraper full of fashionable Art Deco apartments, built by an eccentric millionaire (who is actually an occultist and the head of a mysterious cult).”
