Dragon Ball Super 62 was one of the best episodes to date. Although it ended with Vegeta and Goku retreating into the past again, it did set up a serious addition for the series. Although Vegeta didn’t go Super Saiyan White, Trunks did push himself into what looks to be a sub SSJ God 2 form. The strangest thing about the predictions for episode 63 are that they seem to surround Gohan and his realization that he left Trunks alone against the threat of the future. Remember, in Trunk’s future before the androids Gohan was the only defender of earth left, and fought against the Androids alone while training Trunks to become a Super Saiyan.
This left many fans sour, as after the Cell Saga, Gohan lived a relaxed life and stopped training to become a corporate businessman. Pair this with the fact that he has a daughter who is 1/4 Saiyan, and it makes sense that he wouldn’t have a reason to train any longer. Now, although the featurette for the episode doesn’t necessarily leave Gohan out, it doesn’t mean he won’t be featured in the episode at all. This also leaves fans to speculate if we’ll see Goten and Trunks help out as well in the form of Gotenks, as they left the episode in a very sudden manner after being caught by Vegeta snooping around the area.
In Dragon Ball Super Ep. 63 Vegeta will be slugging it out with Black, while Goku possibly prepares the evil containment wave for Zamasu to be trapped inside of it. Clearly, a Spirit Bomb wouldn’t work since he can’t be killed because he’s a god, also that kind of got played out when Majin Buu was killed by it in the last series. If Gohan does get involved in the new episode, he would need some serious training, not only in the form of reaching a level beyond SSJ2 and Unlocked Gohan, but he would need to reach SSJ God 2. With four Saiyan’s helping to fight it could just work. The expectation that Gohan will appear and help in the fight is a great thing, as many have been calling for him to return to the series since the Cell Saga.
