These days, there are so many ways of playing your favourite games, whether you like playing on a console, from the comfort of your own home, or you like to take your games with you on the go. And there is a huge range of games to play – from arcade games, bingo online, battle royale games and even puzzles, so you can choose your favourite. Below, we’ll look at the Top 5 games that you can play this year!

1. Fortnite

This is one of the most popular games that many of us will have heard of, if not played over the last couple of years. This online game is built by Epic Games and can be played on almost every gaming platform you can think of; XBOX, PC, PlayStation, and Windows, so you can choose which you enjoy most, and even play on the go.

Fortnite is a survival and Battle Royale game, so it is what you’d expect from others of this kind – you play against friends, or other players from all over the world, and see if you can survive until the end. Up to 100 players can take part in four modes: Battle Royale, Party Royale, Save the World, and Creative.

2. Call of Duty Mobile

Another of the most played games on the market today is Call of Duty Mobile. This game was developed by Infinity Ward and can also be played on pretty much every gaming platform you could think of – XBOX, PC, IOS and windows to name a few.

As many keen gamers will know, there is a huge range of Call of Duty games to choose from, like Modern Warfare, Black Ops and Warzone – you can work your way through the series or choose your favourite! This game allows you to play with anyone across the globe, or with friends. The game allows you to play anywhere you like, on the go, or from the comfort of your own home.

3. Apex Legends

If a free game is what you’re looking for, Apex Legends could be the one for you. This game is produced by Respawn Entertainment and can be played on your games console, or Windows. Just like Fortnite, it is a Battle Royale game and something that makes it stand out from the rest is the storyline that it follows.

The premise is that you’re playing on an island in groups of two or three, and as you hunt for weapons and equipment to help you defeat the other players on the island, it is shrinking – not only are you trying to defeat the other players, but you’re also racing against time too. As you’d expect, the goal is to be the last team on the island – and then you will be victorious!

4. Minecraft

A big name in the online gaming industry, Minecraft was developed by Mojang and is available on a wide range of platforms, so there really is a way to play that suits everyone. It is a little different to the 3 games we’ve looked at already – it is a sandbox game that has no objectives! It allows users to simply play for fun, meaning you have full authority. No story to follow, just entertainment. There are a few different game modes to choose from, Survival, Creative and Adventure being the most common.

5. PUBG

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG is one of the most followed online games around the globe. It is built by the PUBG corporation and can be played on a range of platforms, like XBOX, PC and Microsoft windows – so you can choose whichever you prefer.

The graphics in this game are what make it one of the best, and you can play in several modes, one of the most popular being Battle Royale. You can play by yourself or as part of a team, with the aim being to fight the other players until there is only one left that is victorious. If last man standing is your thing, this game could be the best choice for you.
