This week McDonald’s will be distributing the mythical Pokemon Hoopa starting on Friday, November 27th. The event will continue until December 23rd so if you want to avoid the Black Friday chaos you will have plenty of time to snag this Pokemon. Hoopa can be obtained via Mystery Gift through your local McDonald’s Nintendo Zone, which is similar to getting one via the Internet. The Pokemon Happy Meal promotion, featuring Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire toys along with Pokemon trading game cards, will be starting as well.

Hoopa can be acquired on Generation VI Pokemon games.

Hoopa can be acquired on Generation VI Pokemon games: Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The alternate form Hoopa Unbound, however, can only be done in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire after receiving the Prison Bottle. To get the Prison Bottle just walk into a Poke Mart in any city or town and talk to the new clerk near the counter on the far left side. Once you speak to the clerk he will tell you a story and then give you the item. After that, just let Hoopa hold it and let it loose on your friends.

Because you gotta catch them all!

After Hoopa that leaves only one Pokemon left to be officially released to the public, and with Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow Virtual Consoles being released to the 3DS eShop in February next year. That may be a bit longer. However, considering the fact how the “special” Pokemon´s is being distributed left, and right we just may see an officially completed Gen VI Pokedex sometime in 2016.

Hoopa Distribution Details:
