I´m not going to pretend that I´m unbiased here, because I´m not a fan of Konami anymore. And since I have written quite a few posts about Konami and their beef with Hideo Kojima and their employees in the past. I just couldn´t help to smile like the devil himself when I saw Norman Reedus Instagram Konami troll picture (it was posted about eight hours ago). You see, shortly after that Hideo Kojima presented his new exclusive PS4 project “Death Stranding” at E3 2016. Norman Reedus went to Instagram and posted this picture:

Norman Reedus and Kojima-San take trolling to a whole new level with this picture.

And what can I say? It served Konami right, and I really enjoyed the “Death Stranding” as well. And yes, Norman Reedus is the main character of the game. As for the actual game itself, it´s been a long time since I felt that E3 “omfg!” feeling. However, that was indeed the case with “Death Stranding”, as the trailer made me think about a mix of “Lost”, “The Island of Dr. Moreau” and “Cast Away”. And I bet that a lot of the female (and male) Gaming community like the trailer a whole lot. As we got to see an almost complete nude Reedus in the trailer, and the trailer was quite emotional as well. As Reedus was holding a new-born baby in his arms (it´s unknown if he gave birth to the baby, or if Kojima just wants us all to believe that). At the same time, the rest of the trailer was very Lost-ish like (millions of questions, very few answers).

Did Reedus just give birth to a baby? Only Kojima-San knows the answer to that one.

And why is that? Because it seems like Reedus character has been infected by a black-paint venom-like alien power. And at the very end of the trailer, you can spot some hovering (alien?) artifacts (not to mention the fact that Reedus has a lot of scars on his stomach, which looks like a crucifix of sort). I´m also somewhat puzzled over what Kojima wanted to say with all those dead whales and fishes in the video? (since Reedus is a HUGE animal friend in real life, maybe he asked Kojima to add a message about over fishing and our dying seas and oceans into the trailer?). Time will tell I guess, not all that much is known about Kojima´s “Death Stranding” at this time though. However, the following things are known:

– The game is an PS4 exclusive project
– Norman Reedus plays the lead role in “Death Stranding”
– PS4 architect Mark Cerny is contributing to the game
– Hideo Kojima, Kojima Production and Sony is the driving force behind the project
