The most happening battle royal games of this season are none other than the notoriously famous Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) and Fortnite Battle Royale. Which game is better? Well, it totally depends on your personal likes and dislikes and your gaming passion.
Nevertheless, to make it easy, we are going to compare the features and functions of both the games after which you can decide which one is better suited for satisfying your gaming taste.
Both of these games are compatible with PC as well as mobile phones. The minimum required specification for android mobiles; above Android 5.1.1 and minimum 2 GB of RAM. While, you’ll need an iPhone 5S or above to run on iOS. These are the phones which are usually adapted to the latest basic everyday apps like gps phone tracker, Instagram, Snapchat etc.
Fortnite Battle Royale is created by Epic Games’ Unreal Tournament team while PUBG is developed by Bluehole. PUBG is based on the Unreal Engine 4 gaming engine which is also used in the making of Fortnite by Epic Games.
PUBG was the first Battle Royale game created so it’s apparent that its graphics aren’t that much advanced but overall PUBG has a very realistic look. On the other hand, Fortnite was created by a whole bunch of developers so it’s well optimized and the graphics are well-developed giving moreover, a cartoonish look to the characters. Spotting enemies is much harder in PUBG than in Fortnite.
Both games have similar arena settings i.e. you will be required to compete with several other Players which can be as much as 100. In PUBG there are multiple maps from which you can choose your battlegrounds whereas in Fortnite there is only one map available.
The options of playing solo, duo or in a squad of four are available in both the games. The basic rule is same: be the last one standing in the battle and you win. PUBG games are more complex, difficult and time taking than Fortnite because of a variety of maps available. In Fortnite, you can build your shield using anything available from trees to rocks.
Looting is quite easy in Fortnite as the precious items give out specific radiance based on their power level making it easier for the player to spot it while in PUBG, you have to go by the conventional raiding way in which you would be raiding many houses before finding anything mentionable.
If you are a hardcore gamer, then you won’t like the shooting in Fortnite as it is very smooth and simple. Fortnite gamers are much less edgy than PUBG ones. Fortnite is much more like a casual game. Where as in PUBG, shooting gives you much more realistic feedback just like in CS:GO a true Hardcore Battle Royale.
