In case you didn’t know it, Super Mario is one of the most popular online games in the 21st century.

And in case you don’t happen to know what Super Mario is, then it is a series of platform games (“Super Mario Bros.”) created by a Japanese video game designer by the name Shigeru Miyamoto and owned by Nintendo (almost each and every child in the world has played one of the “Super Mario Bros.” games while growing up).

Anyways, Super Mario games can easily be found online on Pomu and lets its players play the game in succeeding levels. Another fun fact is that Mario is a fictional character that has appeared in over 200 video games since its creation.

Furthermore, the game has had over 330 million copies of games in the Super Mario series that have been sold worldwide making it the second best-selling video game series in history, only being surpassed by its own contender, the Pokémon series.

Mario has greatly evolved over the years, however, one thing that remains constant:  Mario’s appearance. Although the general graphics of the character has greatly improved as expected with the advancements in technology.

Mario can be briefly described as a short Italian plumber residing in a mushroom kingdom. The plot of the game is relatively easy and simple for most players to engage in.

He is normally in a pursuit of rescuing Princess Peach from the troublesome villain, Bowser. Mario is faced with challenges along his route that requires him to fight back while getting some bonus lives to strengthen him. At times, Mario is assisted by his younger brother, Luigi.

The game initially started small, growing to larger levels as one continues to play. A beginner starts with a small Mario and goes collecting “lives”  while getting bigger and bigger. When a large Mario is hurt, he simply reverts back to a small Mario and the game starts all over again.

There is a power-up button that allows Mario to kill his enemies while on his venture. The most fascinating thing is that a player has the option of changing into a fire Mario by collecting fire flowers in the kingdom.

The development of the game still continues and a dedicated player would need to keep up with new releases of the Mario game.

The first title of the Mario series was called the super Marios Bros released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1985.

It established gaming concepts and elements that are nearly in all the other Mario series. Some of the notable series that have been released include;

– Super Mario bros
– Super Mario world
– Super Mario sunshine
– Super Mario Run
– Super Mario Maker
– Super Mario Maker 2
– Super Marios Odyssey
– Super Mario 3D Land
– Super Mario 3D World
– Super Mario 64
– New super marios bro
– Super mario galaxy

Mario games have come along way with many developments on its way. One of the key developments is branching out into sports games, party games and other role-playing games.

As it may happen from time to time, the internet may block some games for reasons such as the presence of viruses, bugs, protecting children et cetera. Worry not, with Super Mario Run unblocked version, rest assured to play till you tire.

Mario online unblocked games can be enjoyed literally anywhere, at school, at home, at the park you name it.

I mean, all you have to do is simply log onto the site and play. You can play any of the Mario games for free on the computer as long as you have the internet on.
