The hype about esports has reached a fever pitch. It has encapsulated the whole world. It has grabbed the attention of everyone. Major brands are rushing for their advertisements towards esports. The spectators for esports is highest throughout the world. A lustrous future is waiting for esports.

Esports is a multifarious platform. It is a hub for many tournaments and genres. There are multiplayer online battle arena, first-person shooter, fighting and games, battle royales and many more. Everything is available on the internet. There is a list of places you can bet on Lol because it is one of the renowned tournaments among others. Dota and Counterstrike has also gained fame.

It has surpassed all the predictions leading to beaming results. Last year in July, a 16-year-old boy became one of the best Fortnite players in the world and won $3 million prizes. That is massive! He is so young earned more than the other renowned athletes. That is a simple fact can make you realize how boomed esports is now.

You can’t discriminate between regular sports and esports because of the radiant fame it has got. Moreover, in visa applications, the U.S government legally recognizes regular athletes with esports athletes. Very soon in the future when someone would think about esports he will acknowledge it a sport.

We people are a result of the organic evolution. We evolve and so are the activities. Millions of people around the world participate in esports in one way or the other. The famous tournaments attract players as well as worldwide. Esports has an insane viewership that is more than the traditional sports viewership.

Esports in the Asian Games:

Esports has already been added as a demonstration sport in Asian Games. That means the competitiveness of esports has been acknowledged. Intel has announced it will host an esports tournament in Tokyo that would take place in July 2020. This possibility means that the world has considered the notoriety of esports.

Market intelligence from Newzoo estimates that there are 143 million esports enthusiasts and 192 million occasional viewers. Global esports revenue is expected to reach $ 1 billion by 2020. The momentum behind esports right now feels unstoppable. While a Tech billionaire Tej Kohli recently launched a €50 million fund to support the industry.

Sooner, the famous media companies would compete for esports one day. Netflix even claimed of being afraid from Fortnite rather than Disney. On the other hand, Amazon has already dived into it. It is not only an online store rather owns Twitch, the largest site for watching esports. The logical move of media companies is guaranteed.

The esports pie is shifting its potential around the neighborhood because investors are flooding into the industry. Everyone is eagerly getting into it to get a slice of their own. Within the past year, it has taken leaps in the right direction. Even esports has become more popular in schools and colleges.

However, still, it has to go a long way off. The rate at which esports is growing would surpass many small traditional sports but the journey is long enough. The industry needs to focus on the areas where improvement is required. The future is esports would inflate in the coming years and the need of the hour is to take it higher.
